What should I send with a specification enquiry?

Whatever exists today. An FF&E schedule, a specification document, drawings, a room datasheet, photographs or a reference sample are all useful. If you only have a moodboard and quantities, send that and we will tell you what else is needed.

Will I get a price straight away?

Accepted Answer

No. We review the specification first, then tell you which items can be priced firm, which can only be indicative and what information is missing. A number given before the scope is understood is not a price you can build a budget on.

Which file types can I upload?

Accepted Answer

PDF, Excel, Word, DWG and DXF, images and ZIP archives. Up to ten files, each under fifteen megabytes. If your package is larger, send the enquiry and we will arrange a transfer link.

Question 4

Do you handle confidential design information?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Specifications and drawings are held for the purpose of reviewing and pricing your enquiry, and are not shared beyond the manufacturers required to quote it. We will sign a confidentiality agreement where you need one.

Question 5

Can you quote against an existing supplier's price?

Accepted Answer

We can produce a comparable position against the same specification, which is the only fair comparison. We will not undercut a number without seeing what it includes, because the difference is usually scope rather than price.
