Ceiling coordination left to site

When services, sprinklers, lighting and joinery are coordinated on site instead of on drawings, the ceiling closes late and every following trade waits.

Sample and finish chasing

Unapproved finishes stop production. A sample register with dates and owners is unglamorous and saves more time than any acceleration measure.

Long lead items ordered late

Stone, decorative lighting, specialist glass and fabric can carry lead times longer than the fit-out itself. They should be ordered against the opening date, not the trade start date.
