Decide on the product, not the country
Each manufacturing base has genuine strengths. Timber and upholstery capability, metal fabrication, stone processing, glass, lacquer and lighting are not equally distributed, and a factory pushed outside its strength produces the finish problems that show up at inspection.
Certification and destination market
Fire performance, electrical certification and material declarations differ by destination. A route that cannot produce the evidence your market requires is not cheaper, it is unusable.
Programme and shipping reality
Production time is only part of the programme. Port availability, holiday shutdowns and shipping frequency to your destination can move a delivery date more than the factory ever will.
Splitting a package deliberately
Large packages are often best split by product family across two or three routes and then consolidated before shipment. That keeps each item with the factory best suited to it while the buyer still receives one delivery plan.
