Tanking, falls and movement joints are set out and inspected before any finish is applied, because a failure here is invisible until it is expensive.
Materials chosen for chemistry
Stone, grout, adhesive and metal are selected for pool chemistry and cleaning regimes rather than appearance alone.
Maintenance access agreed
Plant, drainage and equipment access is agreed with the operator so maintenance does not require breaking finishes.
