What should I send with a specialist package enquiry?

The package drawings, the specification section and the date the element is needed on site. If only design intent exists, send that and we will tell you what still has to be developed.

Will you tell me if the package is not buildable as drawn?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and before pricing rather than after award. A package that cannot be made as drawn is a change order waiting to happen, and it is cheaper to resolve on paper.

Can you price against a competitor's design?

Accepted Answer

We price against the specification issued. Where we would propose a different build-up to achieve the same result, we say so and set out the reason.

What file types can I attach?

PDF, Excel, Word, DWG, DXF, RVT, IFC, images and ZIP archives, up to ten files each under fifteen megabytes. For larger packages, send the enquiry and we will arrange a transfer link.
